Welcome to Best Tech and Stuff
If you just joined us, we're already in motion putting together the Best Tech and Stuff news out there on a routine basis. I hope we're covering a wide sample of issues through our blogs - and guest blogs, so please feel free to look around.
What I found most interesting when putting this site together is that there are so many sites out there with great information. So, my thought was to try and find some unique content that people would like to see and to not limit the site to just PCs, Macs, Wiis, etc.
There is so much in the way of cool stuff out there - and much more to come. Remember the flying car? What happened to that? How about the LG TV refrigerator? I saw that one a few years back and almost talked my wife into buying one. How about Java? Ten years ago, we were told that it will power your toaster and possibly other things (some I am afraid to think about), and guess what - they were right - and also a little bit wrong there. So, let's look into that also.
Instead, this site has no real limitations. If it's tech - and what isn't today? - then you may very well find it here. I've been in the tech business for so many years now, I am amazed at what we now take for granted as always being there - and in as much - must be always at the ready.
Email is my favorite example of this. I have worked for several companies over the years and there are times when systems have gone down or someone's email has gotten caught in a SPAM filter - and that't it - the world has come to an end - no one knows what to do - and everyone just stops moving. What did we do 20 years ago when this happened? What did our dads do at their jobs. Crazy right? So - hopefully, we'll spend some time examing these concepts as we move forward also.
Enough from me though. I hope you like what you see here and comment a lot. This doesn't have to be my blog alone. Come and visit. Feed me some ideas. Tell me what you would like to see and we'll do it together. Heck, I can write about these topics for hours.
Welcome aboard - and please come back again and again.
Best,
Joe
