Layer Dvd

How many hour long episodes do I burn to one single layer dvd?

I don’t want to compromise the quality too much, but when I burn hour long episodes I’ve usually been burning 3 per single layer disc. However, I noticed on my iso files when I directly copy them that 4 hour long episodes fit on a single layer disc and the quality is still great. Should I try burning 4 instead? What do most people do without compromising quality? Thanks!

well, i don’t know about that specifically, but i know i can get near DVD movie quality with about an hour of video. DVD movies are very High Quality though, so yea. if You Can copy 4 hours and leave the Quality High then have at thee!
